Eco-Friendly Dumpster Rental and Exclusive Recycling Services
Nova Dumpsters takes an eco-friendly approach to our business. As an eco-friendly recycling company, we ensure that bulk debris pickup and disposal solutions are handled responsibly. When we haul our dumpsters to the landfill, we take them to a transfer station. Here, employees go through the load looking for acceptable items like metal and cardboard that can be recycled. The goal is to maximize recycling and minimize landfill waste.
We also provide dumpsters dedicated to recyclable waste like bricks, concrete, wood, carpet, metal, pallets, and cardboard. If you need a dumpster for concrete, a dumpster for construction, or a dumpster for dirt, we have options available.
Another benefit to the environment is that using a dumpster cuts down on CO2 emissions. Instead of making multiple trips in your vehicle, we can haul everything in one trip. Our professional drivers ensure a seamless experience by delivering clean dumpsters at a convenient time.
We ensure that what we take to the landfill isn’t harmful to the environment or individuals. Combustible materials, paints, chemicals, and gasoline must be disposed of properly through city and county drop-off points. Our friendly team can help direct our customers to alternatives for disposal that align with city regulations.

Nova Dumpsters offers dumpster rentals for residential cleanouts, home renovations, roofing projects, appliance disposal, yard waste removal, and construction debris throughout Herndon and nearby neighborhoods. Flexible delivery and pickup help keep projects on schedule and properties tidy. Please note Nova Dumpsters does not accept hazardous waste.
- Downtown Herndon / Historic District — home remodels and small renovation projects – The downtown area features older homes and mixed-use properties where kitchen, basement, and small commercial remodels are common. A short-term residential dumpster placed curbside makes it easy to collect cabinetry, flooring, and appliance removals so contractors can work efficiently while preserving the town’s historic streetscape.Â
- Herndon Station / Transit-Oriented Zone — moving cleanouts and multi-unit work – Properties near the Herndon transit and station-area development see frequent tenant turnover and multi-unit renovations. Onsite dumpsters help property managers and contractors stage and remove bulky items, carpet, and renovation debris quickly between leases with minimal disruption to transit riders and neighbors.Â
- Fox Mill / Dranesville Road neighborhoods — yard waste and storm debris – Residential neighborhoods off Dranesville Road often require brush, limb, and landscape-debris removal after seasonal maintenance or storms. Renting a roll-off dumpster reduces trips to transfer stations and keeps curbside brush piles contained and ready for proper disposal.Â
- Reston-Herndon corridor / Innovation Center area — construction and contractor projects – The corridor between Reston and Herndon hosts many commercial renovations and light-construction projects. Construction dumpsters let contractors collect drywall, framing, roofing shingles, and packaging debris on site for safe, code-compliant removal.Â
- Sterling Park / Dranesville Lakes vicinity — estate cleanouts and appliance disposal – Larger residential lots and properties around Sterling Park sometimes require estate cleanouts, shed removal, or disposal of large appliances and furniture. An onsite dumpster simplifies logistics for homeowners and estate managers by consolidating bulky waste into one container for efficient pickup and lawful disposal.Â

Can I put a Dumpster on the Street?
This varies by city and county and you will need to contact your local parking, permits and/or regulations department to find out if the dumpster may be left on the street/ private property and public right of way and the cost to purchase your permit if needed. We can help direct you to the right contacts if you need assistance. Most of our dumpsters fit easily on a driveway.

What’s included in the price of a dumpster?
Our standard rental fee includes delivery, pick-up, and dumping. Extra fees are incurred if dumpsters are overloaded, damaged, or if restricted items are placed in the dumpster. A fee is also charged if we arrive to pick up a dumpster and it is not accessible or if you cancel your booking in less than 24 hours.
Will it cause damage to my property?
Our experienced drivers will follow all guidelines to properly drop off and pick-up the dumpster for your job. While the vast majority of driveways will not be damaged by a dumpster, there are some conditions (cracked or broken driveways, dirt/stone/rock driveways, grass) where some damage may occur due to the weight of a dumpster. To minimize the chance of damage, avoid overloading the dumpster.
We use a unique system that allows us to lower dumpsters onto your property and not simply drop it off. This helps to lessen the potential for damage.
Nova Dumpsters is not financially liable for the damages caused by normal dumpster operation.
We lower a dumpster onto your property and not drop it off
Do I have to be there when the dumpster is dropped off or picked up?
No, we can do this without you being there if the location for delivery is easily accessible and identifiable. If this is your first time renting a dumpster we encourage you to be there when we deliver the dumpster.
How long can I have the dumpster?
Rental fees include specific rental days. If you require a dumpster for a longer period of time, please call our experienced staff to discuss all of the options available.
