And if you’re taking it the local landfill it can turn into a half day project. Depending on where you live in Prince George County it can be a long drive to Brown Station and even if close by it can be a long wait in line on arrival. You might also find that with both the city and the landfill some of your items won’t be taken or require a special drop-off. The Brown Station won’t take construction debris, roofing materials, and dirt to name just a few things you can’t drop off and which your city might not take, as well.

With the Brown Station landfill you must also make sure you arrive earlier enough to get in or you’ll have to wait until the next business day. You could find it hard to take trash when it closes by 3:30.

A much more convenient option is to rent a dumpster.
